As Business Controller HEINEKEN Horeca Services you maximize business performance by challenging and influencing the relevant stakeholders and you will act as a business partner on a day to day basis.

You provide advice & guidance, and influence or strengthen the decision making in the relevant working area by:

• developing business cases,
• providing business and market /competitors insights,
• perform benchmarks within and/or outside Heineken
• providing scenario modelling analyses (what-if analysis),
• creating cost and efficiency analyses and
• leading analyses to provide the financial impact of decisions or to gain insight where relevant.

In this position you will be supporting  the business planning cycle for the 1 to 3-year Strategic - Annual Plans,  Operational Plans and Latest Estimates including providing relevant challenge to relevant stakeholders. You will also ensure  finance involvement in the S&OP process to secure a cross-functional perspective and alignment with the various Latest Estimates.

Furthermore, you will monitor and develop insights on the quantitative and qualitative (financial and non-financial) performance of the relevant function, and communicate these insights through the preparation and delivery of streamlined reporting including commentary, as well as you will facilitate target setting, monitor and challenge performance in the relevant working area.

You will monitor actual cost development vs Budget/LE and provide early warnings on deviations will present results to the relevant management teams. You will also define and challenge the requirements for standard management reporting, further development of the Management Information System and liaise with information services to communicate identified requirements.

Your department

You will work at our location in Oss, close to our sales region. You will work within Finance at the Commercial Business Control department. The Commercial Business Control department is responsible for the consolidated results for Beer HNL, the long-term forecast, the budget, the latest estimates and fulfilling the role of Business Partner. This is a new and dynamic department; therefore the exact division of tasks may still alter in te course of time. Our financials are our eyes and ears when it comes to investments, cost savings and analysing opportunities to make more profit. They identify and optimize inefficient business processes and work in multidisciplinary projects.

Your profile

For this function, we are looking for a candidate who possesses:

• A Master’s degree (Business Economics);
• 2- 4 years relevant work experience;
• exposure as an independent and challenging business partner;
• experience with automated systems and affinity with IT (SAP/Blink);
• strong understanding of the business processes;
• advanced knowledge of systems and applications;
• excellent communication skills;
• basic knowledge on Reporting & Accounting;
• good presentation skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English
