HR Projects (30%)

To actively manage HR Projects for Europe/Africa focusing on enhancing organisational effectiveness and impacting staff motivation. To organise , deliver and follow-up on activities, in line with project & development plan and within overall budget, while working closely together with key internal customers, aiming at maximal and visible return on investment and a high internal service delivery.

Human capital development (30%)

To develop, implement and coordinate HR development programs, policies and tools (e.g. performance management, succession and talent planning, LC program) for Europe/Africa, ensuring an adequate supply of skills and competencies across the organization, so that this supports the organizations’ effectiveness and enhances employee motivation.

Internal consultancy & advisory services (15%)

Provides advisory and specialist services towards business leaders. Propose, implement and manage programs and projects aiming at continuous and future-focussed improvement of organisational effectiveness and overall quality of the company’s human resources.

Organization-wide HR (25%)

To actively support and facilitate European and African HR Projects, in strong cooperation with the local HR and the GM HR, aiming at maximal implementation effectiveness. To actively participate in European meetings providing professional HRD expertise while also focusing on bigger picture. Liaise and be responsible for agreed projects. Initiate ideas but also facilitate those of others.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimal Bachelor Educational level
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in an international (relevant) industry.
  • Business driven / people orientated
  • Builder, self-starting and energetic
  • Conceptual (and out of the box) thinking
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Extensive knowledge of Talent Management, Leadership Development, Employee Engagement and Succession Planning
  • Open and cross-culture minded.
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15-20%
