An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Facilities Transition Manager to support the transition of retail facility management services across Europe for Aramark.

Reporting
to the Retail Operations Director, you will drive the successful transition by
effectively preparing leaders, managers, employees, and partners for the change
through deliberate and thoughtful engagement throughout the course of the
project. You'll develop and execute an integrated and detailed transition,
communication, training, organization and business readiness strategy that ensures
impacted stakeholders are prepared for the changes to processes, policies and
systems. You'll keep people (both business and project) focused and energized
by the project effort.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates project planning
sessions with internal and client stakeholders to determine the scope and
objectives of the transition program
- Work with business stakeholders, operations,
procurement, finance, legal, risk management etc. to establish
project performance goals
- Designs project plan, develops timeline,
identifies project milestones, and tracks performance against performance
goals and timeline
- Identifies, tracks, and works with others to
resolve project issues
- Manages project risk through usage of quality
tools to identify areas of risk
- Monitors measures and communicates with Project
Sponsor and other stakeholders on status of specific projects and
assignments.
- Identify and assign appropriate resources to
accomplish various project tasks & guides and coaches team members
through various stages of the project
- Develops business or technical rationale that
impacts resource allocation, program, project or service support or
direction.
- Develop the Transition Management communication
strategy and communication plan for specific initiatives to generate
momentum, raise awareness and influence behaviours across the
organization.
- Write reports and implement a document management
system to facilitate handover of operations once project is
complete.
- Support the communication process by providing
content that will be used in training materials, presentations etc.
Required Experience
- This position will involve extensive (75%) travel
across majority of European countries
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or
relevant Facility Management discipline
- 8-10 years of experience in project management
preferably in the area of retail facilities or commercial properties
related.
- Proven track record in managing new build,
construction and consolidation of facilities projects
- Knowledge of the statutory requirements &
application in OH&S
- Previous experience in managing Projects with a
high net value
- Strong background in building services, contract
management and M/E systems
- Strong ability to plan, organize and manage
integration projects jointly with internal/external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and deliver
projects/tasks on time and within budget
- Team oriented and strong ability to lead and
direct groups of service contractors
- Highly motivated, attention to detail and follow
through
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel,
PowerPoint and internet
- Familiarity with other proprietary software, and
able to learn new applications quickly
