As Financial Analyst at the joint venture company Repsol Sinopec Brasil, you will work in an international and dynamic environment with a strong scope for growth. The Financial Analyst reports to the Finance Manager and is contact person for the external accountant and other third parties.

As Financial Analyst you are responsible for the complete accounting & reporting of Repsol Sinopec Brasil and for the two other participations of the company.

You will operate in a hands-on environment and will be challenged to develop yourself within the role and organization. You will be motivated to extend your knowledge and to continuously drive (process) improvements within this dynamic organization.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Finance or Accounting, at least 3 to 6 years’ of relevant working experience and the right drive to make a difference within Repsol Sinopec Brasil.

- Bookkeeping and accounting administration;

- Prepare the annual financial statements and liaise with the External auditors;

- Support on preparing the IFRS financial statements for Group monthly reporting purpose;

- Facilitate cash management activities according to the

- Company rules and local requirements;

- Support on filling the VAT quarterly report and participate in CIT and PAYE management;

- Manage the corporate files and invoice administration;

- First point of contact for the headquarters in Brazil.

Requirements

- Bachelor in Accountancy, Business Administration with major in accounting and finance or equivalent;

- Several years of experience within an international accounting role or within a Big4 firm;

- Hands’ on attitude, pro-active, flexible and able to establish working relationships on all levels within the organization;

- Strong interpersonal and communications skills;

- Flexible and self-staring personality;

- Fluently in English. Dutch, Spanish or Portuguese would be an asset.
