A team who wants to do this together. The Compensation & Benefits Specialist EMEA is part of the International HR team. The focus of this role is to analyze, create, develop and implement Compensation & Benefits programs to create a challenging and rewarding environment. 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing reports & trends analysis on compensation and benefits needs of the organization based on the Global Compensation Philosophy
  • Advice on Compensation & Benefits programs for implementation in the countries where we operate lead by our mission, vision and values. Ensure plan proposals are created using the correct internal stakeholders and are accompanied by correct budget proposals
  • Advice the organization on best practices and also suggest program, process and policy improvements for compensation & benefits programs within EMEA
  • Vendor management across the full spectrum of vendors from personal tax consultancy to salary survey and grading vendors
  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of the EMEA Mobility policy
  • Responsible for all related action items concerning international moves in and/or out of EMEA, including Visa’s, compensation comparison, COLA calculations, Housing proposals and advise on insurances etc
  • Ensure all current and new positions are correctly plotted into the Organization’s Job Leveling programs and are connected to the correct pay levels and benefits
  • Ensure correct communications with Global C&B functionality on various programs
  • Create reports & analysis on existing Compensation & benefits for senior management
  • Manage & coordinate the annual salary review process
  • Participate in or manage initiatives as they arise e.g. improvements to grading process, revised processes or policies
  • Pilot new benefits in the region and ensure feedback and corrective actions are taken to implement valuable programs

Candidate profile

You are the ideal candidate for us if you have a degree in International Business / Human Resources / Finance Management or similar education and at least 8 years of experience in an international environment. You have relevant working experience in Compensation & Benefits roles, consultancy and/or a strong financial background. You are for example now working as a team member and you are ready for that next step, your own responsibility. And in the future build your own team.

Your English language skills, both verbal and written, are excellent and knowledge of other European languages (Dutch, French and Spanish) are a distinct advantage. You are a natural teamplayer with good interpersonal skills that fit our values. Working at different levels from strategic to operational is your strength, and you are able to work high independently within a strategic framework. You have a proven track record in project management with eye for detail and strong planning, convincing and implementation skills. Building long term solid relationships with (internal & external) customers is one of your strengths. Other key-words: flexible, analytical, pro-active, eager to deep-dive into processes and procedures, self-supportive and service oriented with excellent communication skills. You are keen to keep your knowledge up to date. For this role, you are willing to travel within Europe and US (10%). The location for this role can be in one of our EMEA offices.
