Support the Board in translating the International strategic long-term plan of the company into a company Strategy, from the own area of responsibility Translate the company’s strategy into vision and policies in which supports the business directly or on long-term. Translate policies in a joint company wide annual plan, a department plan and individual or team objectives Realization of the approved annual plan by co-creation and effective and timely implementation. Jointly responsible for realizing necessary changes and change projects in the own area of responsibility and the total company. Leading role in steering committees of projects Run the total planning and control cycle at the company, within established frameworks of the company’s policy, in order to be able to provide the organization and the shareholders with the right financial planning and reports at all times

Our client (financial services) is looking for an ambitious Head of Finance. In this role your will be responsible for realizing the organizations financial and risk objectives. You will be providing the best possible support for realizing the companies commercial objectives by translating the strategic policy into operational policies. Furthermore you will implement and execute these policies within the established policy and frameworks of the Dutch market, FS regulations as well as the SLAs concluded with the various Back office domains. As Head of Finance you will be part of the Management team. The Management team reports directly to the Board of Directors (4). The Head of Finance has four main responsibilities, which are Control, Risk, Knowledge Center for the specific companies financial service and Procurement. - University degree - Relevant experience (ten years +), including at least three years in a comparable job (managing a relevant team) - Combined experience required in-, and knowledge of Business Control and Risk, desired experience: procurement - Strategic and long term vision -Provide direction, able to draw, build and structure the department - Result driven, senior approach and appearance, having ‘flair’, be decisive, strong execution power - Highly developed communication skills - Relevant and current experience in a company within the field of leasing, financial services (banking and insurance).
