Our client is a well-known legal company. For their growing organization we are looking for a;
Head of Litigation
- University degree in Law (Masters degree will be a plus)
- 9-12 years of corporate legal experience in an international professional environment or a reputable law firm with multinational clients
- Experienced in fields of corporate law, commercial law, contract law, labor law, enforcemant law, bankruptcy law and litigation
- Excellent command of English
- Excellent understanding in prevailing laws and regulations and skill related to litigation procedures
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and interact effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proven track record of strong negotiation, communication, organizational, and people management skills and the ability to influence and build relationships without direct authority
- Experience in handling high volume of work and activities involving multiple and complex projects simultaneously
- Decision making and planning ability, capable of handling and solving both project related and organizational problems and sound personality
- Analytical thinking, result oriented, enthusiastic, fast in action but with detailed planning
- Strong communication skills, cross-functional team-player and self-motivated
Job Description
- Manage a diverse and a complex portfolio of litigation and investigation matters, enforcement actions, arbitration and dispute resolution across new and existing clients – both commercial/corporate & private
- Provide leadership and supervisory responsibility for a large group of high-performing attorneys and legal professionals
- Consult with and advise Partners and senior management, maintaining oversight responsibility in law-related areas of significant company-wide impact, as well as direct involvement in policy matters
- Coordinate with other legal groups on regulatory, compliance and operational issues
- Work collaboratively with a broad range of people to develop and maintain strong working relationships between legal, finance, people services, operations and business development teams and facilitate a team based approach
